This week, Ailsa has chosen ‘Deep’ as her travel theme. I had some fun with this, thinking of the different interpretations.
I wanted to go beyond deep water, deep chasms and diversify a little. Had a look through the archive of travel images, and also some recent images.
So, I have come up with a bee deep inside a flower as it searches for nectar, an image taken deep inside an underground tunnel, a man deep in a magazine and a passer by deep in a fantasy world.

Tell me more about the tunnel.
Aah, the tunnel – that image was taken in one of the munitions tunnels at the Maginot line fort of Simserhof. One of the forts open to the public, where it’s difficult to get a shot that doesn’t look too ‘dressed up’. I hope I’ve succeeded with this one..
