For this week’s Lingering Look at Windows, the windows are not the star turn as I’ve decided to post some images of windows surrounded by street art or graffiti.
I was in London the other day, searching out street art. I was in the Shoreditch area, and there was some interesting stuff, probably the subject of a future post. Huge walls in some cases covered by amazing artwork, or sometimes tiny images that I hadn’t noticed at the time but saw on viewing the photos I had taken.
But for now, here are a few windows, or parts of windows, surrounded by art/graffiti. Three come from my wander the other day, one comes from the tiny hamlet of Castellucio in the Valnerina, Umbria.
Take a trip over to Dawn’s blog to see some more windows!
That first artwork is really beautiful, Sue, especially beneath such uninspiring windows. The blue sausages made me smile 🙂 Well, blue sausages do, don’t they?
Well, yes, they do! 🙂
While blue sausages do make us smile, my favourite in this set, Sue, was “angry?”
Glad you liked it, Lynne 🙂
I swear you guys come up with the coolest windows!
Many thanks, and it’s only me (not guys in the plural!!) 🙂
Well, I meant all of you who participate.
Oh, sorry!!
