Weekly Travel Theme: Deep

This week, Ailsa has chosen ‘Deep’ as her travel theme. I had some fun with this, thinking of the different interpretations.

I wanted to go beyond deep water, deep chasms and diversify a little. Had a look through the archive of travel images, and also some recent images.

So, I have come up with a bee deep inside a flower as it searches for nectar, an image taken deep inside an underground tunnel, a man deep in a magazine and a passer by deep in a fantasy world.

Why not head over to Ailsa’s blog and immerse yourself deep into some more interpretations of… Deep!

  1. Suzanne

These are a great response to the challenge. Well done.

  2. I wonder what’s in that magazine? 🙂

  3. Great choice of photos…love the colors.

  4. Tell me more about the tunnel.

    • Aah, the tunnel – that image was taken in one of the munitions tunnels at the Maginot line fort of Simserhof. One of the forts open to the public, where it’s difficult to get a shot that doesn’t look too ‘dressed up’. I hope I’ve succeeded with this one..

Over to you...
