Monday Washing Lines – Romania

Today we’re off to Rural Maramures in the north of Romania to see a lady rinsing her washing (rugs) in mountain waters. She had a wooden contraption that funnelled clear water from a spring so she could access it readily

This week, Patti has asked us to look up. I have decided on a theme, and my images for this post are all from Romania. On a trip to Romania some years ago, I looked up and spotted a number

Seen in Romania, some years ago… an all but deserted station, and this man went up to the train, collected a package, and returned across the tracks. I love continental trains and stations…great wide expanses unlike those in the UK.
