Here we are for some more Words…I’m so pleased that Paula is back, and recovered from her injuries!
I have chosen just three of Paula’s words
refulgent – I have chosen to ilustrate this Word to mean dazzling, and to illustrate not wit light, but with a very animated violinist, a most talented lady who dazzled us with her playing of the violin and her contortions about the stage!
nuances Went for the obvious one, with nuances of colour. Not sure if this is gently nuanced enough, a peony in early stages of decay:
Bight.
Hope you liked these.

Good selection Sue 🙂
Thank you, Brian!
i had to look up refulgent.
So did I, Gavin!
Oh I do. Especially the weary peony.
The weary peonies can make some great images!
I remember that energetic violinist, Sue. And I think the Peony does work for nuance.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete! D’you know, I just cannot remember that violinist’s name
I love that Mediterranean blue, what a beautiful calanque! Peony is perfect, Sue, and your capture is poetic, beautiful! I wish I had been there to watch and listen to that lady 😀
D’you know, I can’t recall that violinists name! Glad you like my words!
Excellent choices. The peony is perfectly nuanced in its fading.
Glad you agree about the nuanced fade of that peony, Tish!
I heard refulgent for the first time this year from a priest. I was glad to learn a new word at 72!
Way to go!
Excellent, Sue!
Many thanks, A C!
That peony is definitely nuanced. Strange what a powerful and emotional effect viewi g it had on me.
A good effect, I hope
