I hadn’t been paying attention to some flowers sitting on my hearth – but when I looked at them today, they were just showing signs of ‘past their best’…. In the next couple of days, they’ll be well gone….I did

Poor light today, but I did grab this one against a black background….those anemones have definitely seen better days:

Descent into decay (those Japanese anemones again)

This was how they were looking yesterday…. by tomorrow I suspect their won’t be a lot of the smaller ones remaining: They are not decaying in the manner that the ones in my garden of the past did…most intriguing. I
