Hurrah, I remembered this image I had taken of a talented Trio (from Sao Miguel in the Azores), Musica Nostra, who came to perform for us on board ship on my recent travels. They were very professional seeming, but actually a group of teachers who did this in their spare time – bravo to them! I have a CD of theirs – Cantos da Terra, which I play quite a bit.

You hit the brief nicely with that one, Sue.
(I was talking to a neighbour yesterday, and she told me that she had been on a cruise to all those same places, at the same time as you. Her name is Jenny, and she is 80, but very active. I didn’t mention you, but suspect that you were both on the same ship.)
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete! I was fortunate to be sitting nice and close, so I could get a few images – I don’t use flash, and have a small mirrorless camera so there would have been no distractions. Sounds like your neighbour was on the same ship….
Thank you Sue! I was struggling to think of a music post but you have just inspired me. I love buying the CDs of people we get to hear when travelling.
Yay! Glad to be of inspiration, Debs! look forward to seeing your post
Axzores? Then they must be good!
You are familiar with the Azores, Ann-Christine?
My favourite place on earth. Went to almost every island there – Corvo and Flores are my favourites. Astonishing nature and lovely people!
Oh, I do remember you saying this before!

Now I must look them up, hopefully there is some on you tube. This is a nice shot, Sue. Thank you 🙂
Might b ethers bŷ the same name, though
I found them 🙂
Oh, good…did you like what you heard?
Yes, I did.
Good!
Sounds like you had a fabulous trip Sue:-)
I did, Gilly!
I’m not diligent enough to look them up on You Tube, like Paula. That was your job, Sue. 🙂 🙂 But I think I’d like them.
Nope, I have my CD, I’m happy!!
