Queuing up : Square Up (6)

Panama Canal again, very early morning, and the ships queuing to await entry into the canal while the tug sees that all is OK:

  1. is it me or is this a rectangle with two sets of equal sides rather than one with four equal sides?!!

  2. Hee hee! Naughty, but resourceful 🙂 🙂

  3. That traffic jam of super-ships looks like a very serious accident waiting to happen.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. maristravels

We had something similar here at Sandown/Shanklin Isle of Wight during the first lockdown when the big ships couldn’t get into the ports of Southampton and Portsmouth and parked themselves in our bay. It took a lot of complaints from the authorities here to get them moved because a) the noise from the generators were keeping people awake! and b) discharging oil was becoming a hazard to marine life on shore and sea.

  5. I love watching the big ships. I get to see them when I go to Astoria. They travel down the Columbia River to Portland. 😀 Wonderful photo.
