How’s this for a bit of overlap?
I was looking out from one of the rooms in the Real Alcazar and it appeared that all the columns in the courtyard were layering over each other from that angle:

Lovely, Sue. It took a while for my mind to grapple with it. This shot could go into many challenges under a variety of themes – in, out, shadow, reflection, open, arch, mosaic, busy, …..
Well, absolutely!
Great choice for the challenge, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks! It was just the most photogenic place, but the trick was avoiding people that didn’t add to the shot…..
What an extraordinary shot! Live it!
Thanks, Amy! That place was something else!
Love this Sue. It’s a shot that really rewards close examination and works so well for this challenge.
Many thanks, Su! Pleased you like it!
This is so lovely, Sue, on many levels. 🙂 🙂
Thank you very much, Jo! Have you been to the Real Alcazar?
Yes, a couple of times, Sue. Beautiful, isn’t it? 🙂 🙂
It most certainly is
What a great visual effect and colors, Sue! Just beautiful!

Thank you, Janet! It was a fantastic place
Very clever shot.
Thank you, Margaret!
That’s an interesting and visually tricky image, Sue. Nicely done.
Thank you, Jane – there were rather a lot of people wandering about the Real Alcazar, so I had to come up with a few creative ways to produce images minus tourists!
More wonderful framing – and so apposite to the the e. Overlay would’ve stymied me
So apposite to the the e. ??? Pleased you like it, perhaps more to come?
Theme, of course. Why does one always see the edits just after one hits “post”?
And I didn’t read this before I responded to you!!!!
