One Word Sunday: Overlap

How’s this for a bit of overlap?
I was looking out from one of the rooms in the Real Alcazar and it appeared that all the columns in the courtyard were layering over each other from that angle:

  1. Lovely, Sue. It took a while for my mind to grapple with it. This shot could go into many challenges under a variety of themes – in, out, shadow, reflection, open, arch, mosaic, busy, …..

  2. Great choice for the challenge, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

What an extraordinary shot! Live it!

  4. Love this Sue. It’s a shot that really rewards close examination and works so well for this challenge.

  5. This is so lovely, Sue, on many levels. 🙂 🙂

  6. What a great visual effect and colors, Sue! Just beautiful!

  7. That’s an interesting and visually tricky image, Sue. Nicely done.

Thank you, Jane – there were rather a lot of people wandering about the Real Alcazar, so I had to come up with a few creative ways to produce images minus tourists!

  8. More wonderful framing – and so apposite to the the e. Overlay would’ve stymied me

  9. Theme, of course. Why does one always see the edits just after one hits “post”?

  12. 🙂 It’s pleasantly confusing.
