Following on from my sighting of a man on scaffolding attending to the roof at a nearby property, imagine my surprise this morning, when I saw two men having a discussion on another rooftop. In this freezing cold?

To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
You’ve got some bonkers people in Surrey!
Seemingly so!
Both braver than I am, Sue. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
😊
Mad!
Bonkers!
I have to say it. You wouldn’t find two women doing that!
😄😄
I think t if you work in the building trade, you have to be super-hardy.
I think you’re right!
No change there then 😉
Erm…
Must be a few leaks in Surrey!
Well, looks like it
Brrrr. Needs must I suppose
Exactly
Closer to the sun??? Even if it is hidden.
😄😄😄
I’ve been on a second-story roof before and it’s not much fun whatever the weather. It took me along time to feel comfortable enough to stand. I mostly scooted around on my bum. 🙂
janet
Yikes
I’d stand on a roof like that if I had a rope tied to my front and to my back and another two on either side because you can fall and hurt yourself. And I don’t like it cold when my fingers freeze. But now I’m 77 I don’t like climbing up a ladder too many rungs.
Great photograph.
I hadn’t actually worked out where you were until I saw the shape of the house and the fact that you spell ‘colour’ correctly. Are you south England?
Yay! I agree entirely, and my balance is so atrocious I can’t climb ladders anymore! And yes, I’m in Surrey, John
12 months ago I was in England. I stayed for a day in the new forrest with on of my blogging friends and another day in Peterborough with another. I would have liked it if you’d started following me a bit earlier. It’s a good way to make friends. Now with Covid I’ll never make it back again.
I know, missed opportunity… Bhutto life is full of them
Oops, but….how did that become Bhutto??
Did you ever know Benazir Bhutto ‘cos it wasn’t a typo.
No, it was the pesky predictive text…the minute you mishit a key, you’re scuppered unless you proofread your typing
That is bonkers. Ladders are out for me, a six rung step ladder is my limit.
It is, I agree, and I don’t do anything off the ground now
