Gosh, Autumn’s come early …. Lovely colours.
Well, it really seemed to arrive quite quickly!
Thinking alike. I have an image of seasonal leaves to post….. maybe I will leave it a few days 🙂
Look forward to seeing that image…more accomplished than mine,I’m sure!
Please no, don’t bring it on so soon!
It’s here!
Some trees do seem to lose their leaves quickly. One of my goat willows has had brown leaves for a few weeks but the one next to it is still green! Go figure! I think the heat you had in August will have accelerated the droppage in your area.
I think you’re right, Jude
No doubt in which direction we are heading… I love the juxtaposition of withered against still fresh leaves,
Thanks, Otto!
Fall here in the desert is a very different proposition. We’re all longing for the cooler temperatures after a summer of record-breaking heat (just the time to move to Arizona, right?)

Oh, goodness – sorry to hear about the heat
I figure if we can live through this, the rest will seem pretty nice. 🙂
A positive way of looking at it!
😉
beautiful but am not ready. not yet anyway 🙂
Definitely the change of seasons here…
Even here we have crispy brown leaves, Sue, and it’s still 29C daytime temperature. 🙂 🙂
Wow!
autumn is here for sure!
Yep!
