Decaying daisy

Decaying daisy

  1. Great image…a telling that summer is about to move into August

  2. I love this, and the way if foregrounds the aging and”imperfect.”

  3. Poor old droopy daisy! The others around it still look perky though.
Wednesday already? How these weeks fly by…
    Best wishes, Pete.

Oh, at a guess there are 30+ that are perky, half a dozen that are giving up the ghost……and yes, the days are speeding past, aargh

  4. Oh, no, back to decaying flowers… I’m not at all ready for this.

  5. I have days like this. ๐Ÿ™‚ Hard to believe it’s almost August already. The park is still full of flowers, but they’ll be going bit by bit, just like the light.

  6. Fair enough, it’s getting late for daisies!

  7. It was 99ยฐF here yesterday, so I looked a bit like this wilted flower…

  8. The shot is fabulous…….
As for its meaning , it could represent life of course…!
    Congrats for your 100th post!

  9. Poor soul! Did you forget to water that one, Sue? ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I love the blurriness.

  10. This is distinctively your style, to pursue a previous discussion: subject matter, sparse background, functional blur, and clever composition – all you.

  11. Beautifully photographed, Sue. I should fly you over to keep tabs on my rose and lily bouquet as it decays in a few days. ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Amy

Beautiful composition, Sue! Love the DOF!

  13. Decaying, but unwilling to go, still upright ๐Ÿ™‚
