That’s a lovely picture to wake up to Sue.☺️
Thanks! Pleased you like it!
Great book to mull over, strong coffee to hand.
Strong coffee is a must, Margaret!
Two books to one cup, or is this a third cup?!
One book to one cup each day – keep up, girl!
My favourite so far, I think, Sue. I hope you aren’t on a caffeine overdose, though
Teehee…one cup of strong coffee in the morning, one of decaf in the evening, water the rest of the time……
Too good to live! I’m about to pour my 3rd coffee of the day 🙂 🙂
Well,, I used to drink more, but I have to be mindful of the fact that caffeine is not only a diuretic, but also a bladder irritant….
🙄💕
It matters with my chronic condition. But I’m not giving up coffee!!
The tablecloth is an excellent choice to go with the book, Sue. 🙂
(Or the book with the tablecloth)
Best wishes, Pete.
….and even to go with that cup!
They do!
Yay!
All three elements — cup, tablecloth, and book — came together well to make this photo.
Many thanks, Khürt!

Glad you enjoyed this!
I decided to start a #cupofcoffeeandabook challenge as well. I put in a link back to your post. Thanks for the inspiration and fun photo!
I girl can dream about returning to Spain!
Indeed, it’s good to have dreams….
I love this series. I’m eager to track it, even though I’m not venturing much into the blogosphere. The series has so many possibilities, both technically and thematically. This one has nicely erratic diagonals; a not-quite echo of design in book cover and cloth: and shadows and gleam doing battle for the coffee cup. I’m keen to see other embroidery and other coffee cups – or are you maintaining that thread of continuity with changing books?
Oh, different backgrounds, different cups, and I have other ideas in the fullness of time, Meg!
Hello, lovely! 🙂 🙂
Love this one, and I have another, less beautiful version of that book 🙂 🙂
Good, I thought you might appreciate this one, Jo!
Also meant to say I’m following Jeff too, but have yet to join in. The day still has a tendency to run away with me… I must have been at the back of the ueue (you know I’ve lost a certain letter 🙂 ) when organisational skills were handed out. Or Becky got my share 🙂 🙂
Ah well, we all have different skills, Jo! 💕
That lovely cloth again!
Indeed it is, glad you like it!
