A Cup of Coffee and a book (1)

In these days of Social isolation, I am looking at some projects and blog post themes I might do.  Saw someone had a poem about Coffee and a book, an I thought I could create some images.

Here’s the first one, taken on the kitchen window ledge, and the coffee cup is a wooden facsimile:

  1. Well.. many people will discover that they don’t know how to read anymore

  2. I like that very much, Sue.
Is that a car outside the window? Could do without that – so good light and no object outside could be another project 🙂 And for a matching book to read, I highly recommend “Before the coffee gets cold”

  3. I really like that wooden mug! Now I want one!
    Lovely idea, Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. I like this, I like it a lot 🙂

  5. Damn! I can’t read the book. A great concept, and a great sharp shadow. This theme offers huge scope for a social isolate. We’ll get to see many books, many coffee cups, and many venues. Great idea!

  6. I long to read the book since you have presented such an inviting image. Well done.

  7. A beautiful capture, Sue. The play of the light & shadows are amazing. And that coffee cup is so fun! Can you actually drink from it?
