Weekly photo challenge: Nightlife

Over at WitsEndChallenge, Jenn has challenged us to take night photographs….

I haven’t anything new, but these were all taken at high ISO, low shutter speed and wide aperture, hand held and therefore fit the brief!

This first one was taken through a porthole at night whist berthed in Havana, a bit mysterious:

…this one in Lucca, a good few years ago

Piazza del Anfiteatro, Lucca, Tuscany

And now for a couple of monochrome images, this one some of you will remember, taken in Warsaw:

…and this was taken in Córdoba:

Night time, Cordoba

  1. All fit the brief, and I do recall the excellent B&W shots.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. That looks like a place where it’s easy to get great photos!

  3. I especially love your black and whites.

  4. I just love your shots, Sue! The winding B&W ones are so very eye catching and leading you along the street.

  5. Each photo is atmospheric in its own way. The work well together too though.

  6. You are finding a lot of new challenges Sue!

  7. Love the moody B&W! The square in Lucca is my favorite!

  8. The second is my favourite Sue. So much atmosphere xx

  9. The second one is fabulous! How moody and cool.
