Over at WitsEndChallenge, Jenn has challenged us to take night photographs….
I haven’t anything new, but these were all taken at high ISO, low shutter speed and wide aperture, hand held and therefore fit the brief!
This first one was taken through a porthole at night whist berthed in Havana, a bit mysterious:
…this one in Lucca, a good few years ago

Piazza del Anfiteatro, Lucca, Tuscany
And now for a couple of monochrome images, this one some of you will remember, taken in Warsaw:
…and this was taken in Córdoba:

Night time, Cordoba
Hop over to Jenn’s to see more here
All fit the brief, and I do recall the excellent B&W shots.
Best wishes, Pete.
Many thanks, Pete!
That looks like a place where it’s easy to get great photos!
There are 4 different places in this post….
I especially love your black and whites.
Thanks, Dawn….I do love monochrome
I just love your shots, Sue! The winding B&W ones are so very eye catching and leading you along the street.
Many thanks, Ann Christine!
It’s all about composition!!
It is- and you master it perfectly!
Thanks! Are you the LensArtists bod this week?
Yep
😊😊
Each photo is atmospheric in its own way. The work well together too though.
Thanks, Tish, glad you like them!
You are finding a lot of new challenges Sue!
Erm, this one and I’m trying to think what else….Oh, Cathy’s that I occasionally do
And the LensPortrait or something like that.
Oh, just started last week…LensArtists….
That’s the one 🙂
😊😊
Love the moody B&W! The square in Lucca is my favorite!
Glad you like these, Jenn! The B&W are my own favourites, but there is a ‘vibe’ about that square in Lucca!
I’ve only visited Lucca for a short time. I was instantly at home. I could spend weeks there.
I rather agree with you!
The second is my favourite Sue. So much atmosphere xx
Thank you, Jo!
The second one is fabulous! How moody and cool.
Thanks!!
