One Word Sunday: Dwarf

I am having THE most frustrating day today…..started last evening. I can NOT log into WordPress using my iPad or iMac. I have rebooted, I have uninstalled and re-installed. Still nothing. Both are around 6 years old, and I am wondering if that has something to do with it.

I have just borrowed a friend’s very new iPad, running the latest iOS, which mine can’t, and Voila! Pas de problème! Like a pesky child, WP sprang to life…

So, without further ado, here is a live human looking like a dwarf in comparison to José Marti’s giant, very inanimate, statue in Havana:

Giant statue of Jose Marti, Havana

  1. Havana is one place I dream of going! 🙂

  2. You made lemonade with lemons. Well done. Problems like that are SO frustrating. I’ve had various WP problems that lasted for a time and drove me crazy.

  3. Challenged nailed, Sue. The statue certainly dwarfs that person.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. Typical of today’s world – 6 years and a product is old!
The online typing chat with Apple can be good and you can keep a copy of what is said. Good luck Sue

  5. And I forgot to comment on what you managed in the end, Sue 😦
What a fantastic way to give us a dwarf. And being nosy, is that your husband standing with the giant?

  6. Great picture!
There must have been a problem with safari and imac. I could not use several pages, they were all blank – till this evening. I tried everything – even installed firefox(working). All the fuss for nothing – now it is working again.

  7. Oh Sue, I empathise with you. I had to buy a new iPad recently because my old one wouldn’t run so many apps I use. I hope you manage to find a cheaper fix.

  8. A nice “One” too. I empathise with your frustration. My attempt this morning to service the demands of people who want collages that turn into slideshows, WP kept freezing. I gave up.

    • Sue

Well, I may not be blogging much for the foreseeable…..I scheduled one post per day for the next 3 days from my friend’s iPad today, but after that I’m stuck unless there’s a miracle…

  9. Oh dear how frustrating technology can be good take on theme though

  10. Great shot. I missed that statue in Havana. Will have to go back. 🙂

  11. Ah- I understand the problem now (I’m working backwards 😦 ) Nice shot though, Sue.
