December moves on and the sun came out for a fair slice of this morning…. a welcome sight after yesterday.
The tree pruning men turned up today, so something different to look at through my window! Probably the last major gardening job of 2020. Tree felling requires a good head for heights, and a strength and agility that I have never had – I don’t envy that man his job!

We have to have those abseiling teams out to trim our oak trees. An expensive job!
Best wishes, Pete.
Indeed
Agh! Always scary!
😄😄😄
Oh Sue, this is a way cool photo. Goes to show how huge that tree is. Wonderful 😀
Tall, it certainly is
All that swaying about! Not for me, either! So, did you get out for a tootle, Sue? 🙂 🙂
Nope
🙄💕
Wow! That must have been quite a sight out your window! Was it terribly noisy while he worked?
When they were shredding the logs, yes!
that is the way to cut trees in the city 🙂 as it should! My husband usually just cuts the whole tree down, he did one winter cut down few pine tree branches that were full of snow and about to fall on out neighbors car. I remember him climbing up and sawing the tree with my son holding the ladder so he could get up there.. these should be left to the professionals, so that the falling branch does not hit the cutter.
I would agree!
