Su at zimmerbitch.Wordpress.com has invited me to join her and other bloggers to post one favourite travel picture a day for ten days without explanation, then to nominate someone else to participate. I know how busy many of you are, so I am always a bit nervous about nominating people.
There is no pressure to participate – today I would like to nominate Debbie of Travel with Intent, who has no shortage of travel images (I want to see what she considers to be some of her best) – however, completely understand if you can’t take part, Debbie.

That looks like Poland to me, Sue 🤗💕 Have a good weekend!
Well, it is! Will we see you later, Jo? Happy weekend to you!
Thanks hon! As explained to Margaret I’m in Loule this afternoon with Mike and Marie to check out the Christmas lights. 🤩🎅🎄🦌⛄💕
Ah, OK
I remember this one, Sue. A great capture.
And thanks for the nomination. I might be erratic, but I’ll certainly post some. I’m hoping we get broadband at mum’s on Monday (albeit a slow one) so things will be a bit easier 🙂
Oh great, thanks, Debbie!
It is a great photo. I can’t imagine me biking at my age. 😀
Sadly, it’s a decade at least since I was last on a bike….
What a fabulous post
Pleased you think so, Becky!
Great image and glad Jo cleared up the country in which it was taken. I was puzzled at first.
Pleased you like it, Mari!
Lovely image travel photo, Sue!
Many thanks, Amy
Great photo, Sue. Those wheels are huge.
Yes, they look to be!
I remember this one. Great in black and white – looks like it could have been taken at the beginning of the twentieth century (except I know you are not that old… )
Many thanks, Jude….I had to show it in monochrome, which rescued the image as I had a dozy moment and overexposed the image…couldn’t rescue the colour original….duh….I had gone from shade to full, bright sun? And quite right, I’m not THAT old!!
This is a great shot Sue. The woman really reminds me of a friend’s mother in the Netherlands, still cycling in her late 80s
Wow!
I so love this photo Sue. It has everything almost like an abstract painting with the pictures hanging in the street in the background, the woman and her bike (hope she managed to get her shopping loaded), the clock and the door grills and arches. This may be my favourite of all your photos I’ve seen Sue 🙂 🙂
Well, many thanks Brian, I almost scraped it, because, as I said to Jude “.I had to show it in monochrome, which rescued the image as I had a dozy moment and overexposed the image…couldn’t rescue the colour original….duh….I had gone from shade to full, bright sun” without checking my settings….I just saw the moment and grabbed it
I’m glad you did
Yippee!
