I love seed pods and such stuff, here are some I saw at Wisley about about a month ago (and I’m off to meet a friend at Wisley today, might find something interesting for the camera again):

Have a fabulous time at Wisley 😀
Back now, I did! The autumn colours are lovely . Would that. I could still manage Winkworth
So glad you had a good time, and that you managed to avoid the wet stuff. Horrid here now
Yep, how lucky were we
🙂
That’s lovely, Sue! Have a super day 🙂 🙂
Thanks, Jo!
Adorable
Thanks, Sheree!
A lovely fluffy kind. Enjoy Wisley. Raining here 😕
Just back from Wisley…‘‘twas OK weather, a bit of drizzle, until I was leaving, and the heavens opened….so definitely good timing!
Well at least there is a lovely glasshouse to hunker down in when the weather is bad.
I wasn’t keen to be indoors!
Point taken!
😄
I usually ‘tweak’ those when I see them. They are so soft! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
As long as you avoid the surrounding ‘bristly bits’, Pete!
Oh yes. But the fluffy bits are divinely soft!
😄😄
Indeed!
I can’t imagine a better way to cheer up. I’ll look forward to seeing what you find there.
It was a rather dull day, and a little rain, so I don’t have loads of images, but it was a lovely day with my friend
What’s Wisley, Sue, for us non-Brits? Those bits of fluff look ready to be off at the slightest puff of wind.
