A street artist at work in Shoreditch recently. We got chatting, and she and her friends asked permission to paint this wall from the owners of the building – I have now seen 3 different works on this wall in not much over a year!

To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Any chance we’ll see the finished piece Sue. I like the look of the very bold black and white design!
If I get up to Shoreditch in the next week or so, who knows…or it might be something else again! 🙂
Such talent.

The artist, or me? 😳
Yes. Ha,ha! 🙂
😀😀😀
Both artists are very talented!
Thanks, Emilio! 😀
I don’t know if you saw ‘The Auction House’ on TV, but the manager actually commissioned a street-art mural for the outside of the premises in Lots Road. Despite the reservations of the owner, the locals loved it.
Best wishes, Pete.
Not something I watch….
Don’t blame you, but Julie likes it! x
I thought that was a flowery shoe, Sue, but the other one doesn’t match so perhaps not 😦 But it’s a good looking wall 🙂
I have no idea what it was mean t to be!
It looks like a bit of zentangle, cool!
Zentangle??
Take a look at Sammy D’s site – she is the master of zentangles: http://bemuzin.com/category/art-dabblings/
I was about to make the same comment as Gilly 🙂
Oh, right, I’ll pop over and see what it’s all about… ☺️
Nice to see sanctioned building artwork.
Indeed!
That one looks a little after Aubrey Beardsley…does older work get worked over?
Oh yes – this is one of the previous incarnations of this wall: https://suejudd.com/2015/04/04/street-16/
Yeh, that happens here too! I have a street art image yet to be posted, that also is no longer there. At least, I got a pic of it and that is its history now. You are cataloguing…
Oh, do show it! Loads of the stuff I have recorded has gone now…oh, and I’ve posted a collage of horrors!
Don’t worry, I will show it…later!
Perhaps with some of your street art images, you could upload them to the Google Art Project, which is harvesting and displaying street art from the entire world, as it is such an ephemeral thing.
I’ll only put stuff on my blog at the moment….
