Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge: Reflections and Shadows

At last, I have created an entry for Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge, this week Reflections and Shadows – seems ages since I have participated…

Today, I was out photographing, and it just so happened that a couple of images fit this challenge. I have a reflection of a heron on a post, and my shadows on a blind have been given a quick ‘film noir’ treatment (well, it is nearly Halloween, but I should have had a stalking figure or a stray hand….)

  1. Beautiful reflection and shadow. I always like blue herons!

  2. That heron looks a bit pleased with himself 🙂

  3. Both pictures are lovely, but it’s the Shadow Noir that stands out for me. I like the suggestive feeling it radiates. Both the tones and the composition adds to the film noir association. Very well done, Susan.

    • Many thanks for your positive endorsement…I like monochrome but often have the feeling that I haven’t captured what I wanted. This one was a bit of experimentation that seemed to work.

  4. Yep, that heron certainly seems smug 🙂 That is a fabulous shot Sue. But I too like Shadow Noir a wee bit better.
