Creepy?

I don’t have any creepy images, and no time to create any at present….

But is this ectoplasm? Should I be worried?

Ectoplasm?

Ectoplasm?

Beam me up, Scotty….

For some better examples of creepy, travel over here.

  1. Don’t know if this is creepy, but it’s a really cool photo!

  2. It’s really strange Sue, are you going to explain?

      Explain what, Gilly?

      • What the ectoplasm is???

      • Sue

Wikipedia says ‘Ectoplasm (paranormal), supposed physical substance that manifests as a result of energy’
In my image, the light reflected on the wall to give the window out line, but also this other ‘thing’ in the image….my ‘ectoplasm’
In my youth, some of the horror stories I read had this mysterious ectoplasm, imbued with all sorts of alien properties!

  3. It works for me, Sue. I’m convinced!
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. I love the off-balance in this one, and the density of the negative space.

  5. hauntingly beautiful…and yes, a bit creepy!

  6. Love it Sue! Sooo atmospheric 🙂

  7. ‘hehehe’ – 😀 you can’t scare me I was a huge Alfred Hitchcock freak already when I started in school – it’s actually true – tricked me to see the movies when my parents had gone to bed – but excellent idea for the theme… 🙂

  8. Put that cigarette out Sue!

  10. I see dead people 🙀

Excellent shot Sue and it would make a great cover for one of Stephen King or Dean Koontz’s novels. I love it! 😀

  12. It freaks me out. Good job! 🙂

  13. Very creepy Sue – something on its way to the other side 😦

  14. A very suggestive photo, Suzan, wow! And if it’s get too creepy… just open the window and let in the fresh air.

  15. This would make a great book cover

  16. Fun, Sue. I have some similar photos in my files, so I thought I knew what it was. But it looks really cool and ectoplasm-ish.

  17. Definitely creepy Sue!! Excellent entry.

Thank you, Tina! I didn’t think it really fit the bill as most people like in your face creepy, but I prefer psychological creepy. Perhaps like HP Lovecraft or MR James….. Masters of the unexplained.

  18. Is it a ghost? Is it a bird? Or is it a heavy smoker!!! Got us all talking and commenting Sue. Good one…

  19. This is creepy to me, ectoplasm or not, the way the window stands alone in the dark is enough for me! Great photo Sue 🙂
