Lens Artists Challenge #241: Spring

As usual, I am coming to this challenge late, not least because there haven’t been too many signs of Spring here.

For this post I am relying on my archive.

Sofia asks us to show what Spring means to us – Is it about new beginnings, Nature reborn or a new chance to go and enjoy the outdoors?

Well, here are some Spring images from me…

Catkins always suggest Spring to me:

…and here’s a gallery of blossom, definitely new beginnings:

And finally, outdoors in the Spring sunshine:

  1. Good choices, Sue. Despite some sunny days this week, Spring does indeed seem to be a long time coming. At least the intense wind has dropped a little tonight.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Despite the rain, it finally feels like spring here, it will come eventually. I love your photos, Sue, especially the catkins. Where is that wonderful beach, it perfect for a walk.

  3. Wonderful Sue and it goes to show, better late than never is true 🙂

  4. Beautiful Sue! No spring in sight here either. Thank you for the reminder!

  5. Well Sue – I was truly enjoying the beautiful flowers and then BAM you dazzled me with that cliffside beach walk. Incredible image!! Thanks for joining us – always welcome, early, late or any time in between!
