Seen in my last wander around Wisley RHS garden. I liked those vertical red plants against the backdrop of the grasses. I’m hoping to be there again today with my friend Sal, so it’ll be interesting as to see what autumn colours we see.

Yes, I like these too.
Thanks, Margaret! I have no idea what those red things are!!
Could be Persicaria.
Ah, thanks, Jude! I’m none the wiser…where are they native to?
Asia / Japan I think and they are very popular with perennial planting schemes using grasses.
Ah, thanks, Jude!
And a lovely shot btw.
Thanks!
The combination of the wheat beige and the reds, while keeping to the same basic shape, makes the photo beautiful.
Thank you, Elke…and I think you’re right
Lovely, Sue! I just showed them to Michael expecting an immediate response but he didn’t know so it’s all down to Jude.

Well, I thought they were, Brian!
I hope you made it back there today. A lovely crisp and clear day, with strong sunshine.
Best wishes, Pete.

They’re beautiful aren’t they? I saw some flowers recently and was wondering what they are.
Yes they are great!
Oh Sue I really like this photo for today 😀 😀

This is a real eye grabber today. Beautiful.
