My favourite roads are curvy roads, and because I’ve shown my favourite road (the Stelvio pass) a number of times before, here’s one from the region of Maramures in Romania:

A real blast from the past!
Yep
There are lots of very curvy roads in this area, and they are very popular with motorcyclists. You made a good choice for the challenge, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete!
A great curve, Sue
Thanks!
And not a car in sight. 🙂 I like that.
Yes….in 2006, almost no cars in rural Romania, pre EU . All started to change in 2007….
Nice one, Sue!
Thanks, Marcus!
Great curves on that road 😀
They were, Cee!
I love carrying the hoe on the bike. I wonder where she was coming or going.
Either off to the fields, or coming back…
What a lovely curvy road. And how nice to be able to ride in the middle of the road because they don’t seem to be many cars. Yes a very lovely road
That was back in 2006…before Romania joined the EU….I know that there are a good number of vehicles on the roads now
A nice peaceful curve road, Sue. Great image!
Thanks, Amy!
