To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
A nice view, even with the reflections
Thank you!
On the train, I presume? 🤔💗
Precisely!
A nice photo, specially if from a moving vehicle.
Getting the image sharp isn’t a problem if you use the right shutter speed, but dirty windows and pesky reflections are the main issue!
Exactly. Or you could use the automatic setting and have less trouble 😉 Though the glare would remain 😦
No, automatic wouldn’t work…the camera wouldn’t know to use a fast shutter speed….and it would be potluck
I get some decent shots from moving cars and trains.
OK! But I always use manual settings, second nature after 4 decades
I know you do. But they’re above my paygrade.
Indeed!😄😄😂🥰
Sometimes you have to compromise with windows if you want the shot. It worked well-enough, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete!
I can only think of that old song “blue skies over the cliffs of Dover.” I know these are different, but it is how I imagine the Dover ones. Am I correct? Let me know if not.
Well, they are both chalk cliffs!
