Well, like Debbie I have had to use an image of a fence for my ‘straight’ as I couldn’t immediately find anything else:

To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
It works for the prompt, and the advertising sign is a nice bonus.
Best wishes, Pete.
Good old heritage.age line, the Bluebell Railway
It’s a great fence!
Thanks, Jackie!
A good choice – I wonder how old that sign is…
Oh, I don’t know but I would say around 1950s
Great straights, Sue. And I love the old sign, for soup I never heard of.
Turns out they started out with powdered lemonade in Maidenhead in 1889!! And they were an early user of tinned cans. Now, after various changes of ownership they still exist in Malta. Though soup seemed to be a brief and now vanished product.
It’s great coming across these old signs, and thanks for the info! Who knew?
I’d never heard of Foster Clark either. Interesting sign, so plain compared to today’s advertising.
It takes us back in time!
