To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Pretty window boxes too! Oh, I could definitely have lived in France. Too late now.
Yes, window boxes give a good splash of colour…ah, and “footfalls echo in the memory Down the passage which we did not take” (Eliot, Burnt Norton)
Nice quote.
Oh, I do spout lines from poetry from time to time….
😍
Is that a glazing over of the eyes, or a ‘poor thing’?!
Just a smiling face with hearts!
OK, Jude!!
What gorgeous colours
Well, I rather liked them!
The turquoise really stand out 🙂
They do…and all rather neat and tidy
More great shutters. I don’t know if this is entirely true but in many Australian dairies the walls were painted blue because flies avoided things that were that colour..
Oh, interesting…
So very French. Lovely.
Agreed..very French
Nice to see the effort made with the shutters and window boxes. Very pretty.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, nicely presented
Love that shade! A nice change from dilapidation, which of course has its own charms.
Well, quite! And one to be posted later, which has an element of shabby
Very neat and tidy. The area of Leeds I’m visiting is quite a hodge podge, but then I find most English towns are now. We were in Bradford hitting the high spots yesterday 🤣💙
😄😄 – any photos??
One or two will inevitably reach you at some point, Sue, but I don’t have my laptop and won’t be posting till I’m home. 🤗💟
Aah, OK!
Oh I like the light blue shutters. Wonderful photo Sue 😀
Well, they were rather nice!
