This week, guest host Jez asked us to post on seeing double…for his part he posted reflections, but I shall see what I can come up with
First, let’s see double with a heron:

staying with reflections, now for some ducks on a frozen lake:

…and now for a quiet scene in Northern France:

My last two images won’t be reflections, but (almost) seeing double:
A pair of juvenile cormorants:

and lastly, a pair of metal chairs either side of a table:

Linked to Lens artist’s at Jez Braithwaite’s here
Lovely eclectic mix. I think Jez will be pleased!
I do hope so!
Just tried (twice) to comment on Jez’s site, and failed
Oh? Must be a glitch. I’ve managed in the past. WP again ….
I’ve just tried yet again, no luck so giving up now…grrrr
Grrr indeed.
Suddenly, all three appeared!
Oh Sue, what wonderful reflections and doubles you have for Jez’s challenge 😀
Many thanks, Cee!
Fabulous double Sue 🙂
PS I had trouble commenting on site. I did it OK from Reader though. Next post it was back to being able to comment. Maybe it was a setting on that post being a Lens-Artist hosting or something
I have no idea, but WP is giving me problems today…
I like all of these, Sue 🤗💗
Thanks Jo, but a favourite?
Heron? Sorry for those ducks but I like the cormorants too 🤣💗
🥰
Great choices. One must stick one’s neck out! LOVE the Northern France too.
Thank you, John! Think it might have been somewhere around the Somme bay
I love the cormorants. They look like they are sitting on the back of a crocodile. But a question: how does one get told about the ‘photo challenge’?
I think I found out through people I was following, but if you go into the reader and search for Lens artists, you should find recent posts.
Thank you.
😊
Fantastic response for the challenge, Sue 👏 I’ve had issues with WP as well, trying to track down people’s posts has been annoying 😩 So glad you persevered, your bird doubles, both reflected & paired are superb 😃 The winner for me was the tranquil scene in France; I could spend all day staring at that 😁 Thanks for joining in the fun 😊
Many thanks, Jez! That scene in France was taken at least two decades ago, but remains one of my favourite images. Pleased you enjoyed. My post
You’re very welcome 😊
😊😊😎
Your finds turned out to be lovely!
Many thanks! Pleased you liked this post
You made some very good choices for the challenge, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete!
Some super shots, especially the reflections. My favourite has to be the scene in Northern France – so light and dreamy!
Thank you, Sarah! Yes, the Northern France one is very peaceful
