To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Oh, leafy Sussex lanes demand a sit-up-and beg bicycle, ridden by a woman in a floaty skirt with a basketwork panier on the front. Tour de France wannabes don’t cut it at all.
But sadly you won’t see sit up and beg in the 21st century, Margaret…..
Hang on. I live in’t frozzen north. We can do sit-up-and-beg, AND wicker baskets.
Well, who knew, dahn sarf …..Eh up, lass
‘Appen.
😄
Looks a bit too serious for a gentle leafy lane ride. But a great one shot, Sue
😄. Thanks, Debbie!
I hope the cyclist doesn’t meet a fast-moving ‘white van man’ coming around the corner. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Well, quite
Those delivery vans are a hazard on our country lanes in Norfolk.
Well they can be in Surrey and Sussex lanes too
Too energetic for me 🙂
😊😊
had to chuckle to the comments. I am sit up and basket type.
Good for you!
At least this rider might be able to appreciate the scenery as opposed to the Tour riders!
Too many moments when cars are behind him, I think . .
The sort of lanes that make me nervous – you never know what is around the corner, and I speak as a car driver not a cyclist.
Oh, know, and people drive too fast for the conditions. Why does everyone seem to be such a hurry these days?
