To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Oooh. The beginnings of a Blasted Heath. Lovely!
😊😊😊 ..no blasted heath, just one lone tree that caught the lightning
love this photo 🙂
Thanks, Ritva…the old and the new!
Love this Sue 🙂
Thanks, Brian- the old and the new…
The contrast between dead tree and the lush green one just across the road really makes this shot – that and the inviting bend in said road 🙂
All of which were the appeal for me thanks!
The tree next to us was hit by lightning Saturday night. Quite a spectacle. It is too early to tell if it died entirely. Great image of foreboding, though not clear of what impending doom.
Oh dear…
Love the contrast between the two trees.
Thanks, Janet…that was what appealedq
The dead tree adds a slightly sinister aspect to the photo on a dull day. Good idea, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
I didn’t do it for sinister, Pete…just contrast!
Either way, it worked for me. 🙂
Good!
