To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
The first ones looks a little like crocuses. How tall are they?
Can’t remember how tall, but I’m sure the label said tulip…
No I am sure they were tulips, I just meant they looked like crocuses.
Yes, I see what you are saying….they do look like crocuses
They do look like crocuses, but I guess they are some kind of species tulips. Very pretty.
Yes, a lovely sight
Love the deep plummy ones with the white edges, Sue.
Yes, they were most impressive, Jo!
Lovely color and some shapes not like that of the “typical” tulip. 🙂
Well, exactly!
We saw a few tulips on our visit, but you found more, and my favourite colours too.
Good to hear, Jude!
Amazing colours Sue 🙂
They were a lovely sight
can’t get enough tulips.

A lovely selection.
Thanks, Margaret!
That’s an unusual selection. Thanks, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, there were some interesting ones, Pete
The magenta colours are lovely with those background greens Sue . Some flowering there appear as big as peonies !
Thank you, Poppy!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous at last tulips everywhere! You can’t beat a visit to Wisley. Thank you for showing us these fabulous colours.
Thank you, Agnes! Just wish I had captured a few more!
Yes, you can never have too many pics of tulips.
