To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Very good choices. I love Carcassonne, though the last time I was there (2006, I think) it had become even more touristy inside the walls.
Best wishes, Pete.
I found it way too touristy in2010, Pete
It did put me off, I have to admit. It wasn’t so much too many people, just a lot of garish ‘tat’ in the shops, and inflated restaurant and cafe prices.
Yes, ugh to the tat and inflated prices
Great fiver!
Yay!
Well done! Tricky words.
😊😊
Great selections Sue. 🙂
Thanks, Brian!
Lovely choices, Sue! That fire looks very cosy.
It was!
Wow, beautiful pictures, Sue. Each one fit the prompt perfectly.
Thanks, Marsha!
Perfect selections, Sue! I remember Carcassonne…1976.
Thanks, A C! Carcass one was 2010 for me…30 years later! And way more touristy, I think
I bet…
🙁
Your Carcassone shot is picture perfect. Thank you, dear Sue.
Thank you, Paula!
