Nearly 2 weeks aago, I showed some flowers….well, here they are, well decayed and now no longer. Not my best, but I’m posting them anyway:

Showing pretty colors! Lovely. 🙂
Thank you, Amy!
Ole flowers do make a nice topic
They can do!
Dutch master indeed!
Not my best of those, but thanks! A quick image before they went in the bin
Almost 🙂
Teehee!
I’ve almost given up on flowers because of how quickly they fade away Sue. But yours are beautiful even in their final stage!
Thank you, Tina!
Nobody does decaying flowers better than you, Sue. Always happy to see your photos of them.
Best wishes, Pete.
Many thanks, Pete!
It is still a beautiful bouquet. 😀
Thanks, Cee
Two weeks tomorrow, my aunt gave me flowers and they’re still lovely! Apart from one, a rose. They came from Tesco, not some fancy florist, so I shall take that as a pointer for future purchases.
Well, very good!
Fascinating to see which ones hold out longer. No wonder they feature in common bouquets.
I love decaying flowers, a beauty of their own
A friend painter did studies of all sorts of decaying flowers and other things. I have a collage of flowers and a fish, for instance.
Will you show it? Not without permission
Her name is Gwen Fabricant and she has many examples of her work online to view. She is in her 90’s now, but I taught with her when we were both much younger. Let me know what you think.
Had a look…very interesting
She focuses on the same still life as you often do. A similar sensibility from my perspective. One I love.
Very good!
