To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
These are more spindly, aren’t they? I like the plumper ones, if you know what I mean?
These, I think, are stellata, and the ones I posted the other day were the fuller ones
Lovely! But as usual, they’ll be done for this week. They’re ALWAYS too optimistic.
Sadly true
Glad you captured these before the weather turned, they’re gorgeous! Like Jo I think I prefer the regular magnolias, but then when I see a stellata I fall for that as well ❤
Yep, I think that’s how I see them, Sarah
I love the Stellata type, they look like flocks of butterflies and they always look lovely against a blue sky.
The blue sky, I think, is key
I like all Magnolias, plump or thin. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Fair enough!
That could have been my tree. Beautiful 😀
It could have been your tree!
Beautiful, Sue! Waiting for my own Stellata – but I hope she is waiting too…8- tonight and snow yesterday…
Brrrrr
I prefer the plumper ones – perhaps they make me feel more at home 🙂 🙂
But these do look wonderful against that blue
Well, I agree with all that!
So pretty! So waiting for spring…
Hope you don’t have too long to wait, Ritva!
looks like we do, I don’t remember April with this much snow, we still have full winter in out backyard nearly half meter snow. and it’s cold! But we will get there, eventually every year spring, summer and so on they come .-) Have a lovely week Sue!
Have a good week yourself, Ritva!
