To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Seville is amazing. But I really, really love your tulips against the whited background. It really makes them stand out and concentrates the viewers on the curves (and the rest of the flowers)!
Ooops, did I say Seville? It was Cordoba. Anyway, pleased you like the tulips, Elke!
Well, you could have fooled me. The only time I ever managed to get to Spain was Lloret de Mar. When I was 19. I don’t remember much. 😁
Ah, but I wouldn’t fool some!
😀
I like the Mezquita. I was there last October. Beautiful flower photos too.
Many thanks, John! The Mezquita is quieter place! Pleased you like the tulips
Love the very apt juxtaposition of arches and tulips. Curve and colour-perfect.
Thank you!!
Excellent choices, Sue. I always particularly enjoy your flower photos, as you know.
Best wishes, Pete.
Pleased you like these, Pete
Oh Sue, you have such varied and wonderful curves for this week 😀 😀
Yes, worked well, I thought!
Cordoba is really an extension of Seville so I wasn’t worried that you mis-named it. Curves are excellent.
Not sure I would describe it like that!
No, probably a bit too flippant, neither the Cordovans nor the Sevillanos would approve of my comment! I always hope on a train to visit Cordoba when I’m in Seville so in my mind that are inter-related.
Well, that makes sense
Cordoba would be great to visit – amazing curves, Sue! And your elegantly decaying tulips – gorgeous as ever!
The Mezquita at Cordoba is quite a sight to see, A C… and pleased you like my tulips!
Always!
💕
Oh, those red and white arches in Cordoba! Fabulous!
And fabulous they are!
Love Moorish architecture. And those tulips seems like paintings.
So a successful post! Thanks!
Love the contrasts Sue 🙂
Thanks, Brian!
I’m glad you corrected that. I was most discombobulated. And your antique tulips are wonderful too.
I was mortified! How did I get that wrong….anyway, all was swiftly corrected! Pleased you like my antique tulips!
Beautifully done Sue. Loved the opening ceiling shots, and ALWAYS love your images of flowers on white backgrounds. Do you use a backboard to shoot them, or do you do that in post processing? Either way, really stunning
Thanks, Tina! I have a white blind in my front room, and when the sun shines through it creates a great background!
Superb Sue!
It works!
Wonderful images of both natural and human structures. Cordoba mezquita is incredible and well worth a visit and luckily I have tulips breaking through in my Spanish garden. Yours are delightful.
Thanks very much!
