Bit late with this one, but lets see what I can find. First, from my garden in my past, some apple blossom buds:

….and closer now, as the buds unfurl:

And now for magnolia

And closer

….and lastly for some ruins…the ruined remains of Souville, near Verdun, a WW1 fort not open to the public, unrestored and largely forgotten. It is very unstable with roof falls in numerous places, deep shafts and rotted railings… I managed to find one of the entrances and peeked inside, but did not venture far!

….and now we venture closer

……and closer

Oh Sue, I like your closer and close photo series. 😀 😀
Thanks, Cee….it was LastMinute.com!!!
Great photography, Sue! 🙂
Thanks!
Good choices, Sue. I love Magnolia.
Best wishes, Pete.
Me too
Ohh….I love the flower sequence. Lovely, Sue. Have a great weekend.
Thank you, Patti! And you have a great weekend, too
The flowers are stunning as you get closer and closer, but I am very glad you didn’t not venture too far into the fort!
Way too risky!
Wise woman
I have my moments!
🤭
😳
Lovely pink but the ruins were bit scary.
😊
I love the last two flower shots, Sue. The ruins remind me of WWII ruins we saw in the area of Omaha Beach in Normandy.
In the Verdun area, there are two WW1 forts that are open to the public, and give you an idea of what the conditions would have been like
Lovely blossoms …. and raindrops
Yes, some old ones having another outing
Nice job, Sure. The hanging raindrops is my favorite.
Thanks, Cindy!
Wonderful post Sue – glad I found it!
Thanks, Tina!
That last one would make a great horror book jacket.
Well, you certainly wouldn’t want to be trapped in there….
