Very strong shadows, the sort I’d avoid thinking they would spoil my pictures! That’s why I’m a mediocre photographer but at least I can only get better!

Wonderful shadows. And amazing that the walls are still standing. They seem to have very little support.
Old monasteries,priories, castles from centuries ago survive as they were so well built!
As an aside: Our town is renovating old apartment buildings from around the turn of the last century but tearing down and building new anything built from the mid 50s to mid 70s.
