To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
I like the look of this folly Sue 🙂
Yes, rather different. Apparently it might have once been used for gambling in the early days of the garden, but now used as a playhouse.
Wonderful
Thanks!
With a cute explorer.
A very cute looking explorer, Jo
🤣💗
Odd indeed in such surroundings.
Yes, see my response to Brian
A strange mix of styles. Iron Age meets Victorian. But it works! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, it’s a curious little place
That looks like a fun place to play!
Well, I would imagine so, Sarah!
Very sweet photo, Sue. 😍
A little different, thanks, Jane
Such a different folly from the others you’ve given us. I like it.
Agreed, Mari! Glad you liked it
I’m impressed by your range of follies!
So am I, now! But I’m sad that I can’t seem to find a couple of images taken in Potsdam in the early ‘90s
I adore thatched roofs. 😀 😀
Good to see, aren’t they?
I’m pleased to hear it has a happier activity now 🙂
Indeed!
thought I’d missed one – isn’t this lovely. I’d love to have this as a playhouse!
Pretty dark inside, no windows
oh, that’s very Portuguese!
What, the darkness?
Yup. Cottages in hills often have no windows. Helps stay cool in summer, and warm in winter.
Yes, but no external light??.
Quite a brave little one heading into that dark place.
Oh, his mum was around, and there might have been people he knew inside the folly
