To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Spied through the trees 🙂
Yep!
ah ignore previous comment, can now this glory on the big screen and realise of course it is water!!
With sparkly light!
Wonderful 🙂
Thank you, Becky!
Doing well with the low lighting, Sue. Aren’t you glad February is a short month?
But the images are from the archive, Jo!
I meant that you don’t have too many more follies to find.
Ah, oK!
🤣💟
Brrr. An evocative shot.
Brrr? It was summer…. Pleased you like it, though
English summer …
Alright!
I’ve been thinking about your follies (well, the square ones at least). I wanted to show a wellknown Munich one, the Monopteros in the English Garden – but the only shot I have of it is when it was completely covered (not by Christo as a piece of art but by builders). And then I remembered one close to here. It’s so large, though, that one doesn’t really think of it in terms of a folly. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration. I love this last one, hiding behind the trees and the lake with the silvery water.
Pleased to have been of inspiration
And a good low light image too.
Yes!
I like the feeling of looking at it from a distance and getting a feel for the whole area around and in front of it.
Nicely put, Janet
Full of atmosphere, Sue. One of my favourites of your ‘Folly series’.
Best wishes, Pete.
Many thanks, Pete
