To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Intriguing shot
Have a guess what it is
ah just seen your response to Jo, totally not what I was about to say!!
So what were you going to say?
Cricket!
😳
Indeed!
And what is it?
Clueless, Sue…. My normal state!
The shadow cast by the base of an old bracket clock….
Ah ha! Too clever for me. Enjoy your day!
😄😄
All gargoyles are odd! That’s their job! But as discussed, this is a clever, deceptive shot.
I was pleased with it
have you guessed what it is then? I know you said the same but I cannot see an ass here nor a cockerel!! oh hold on I have had a thought
😀
There yet?
Sadly I saw Sue’s response to Jo so never actually got there myself – I will still working my way through the animals so probably would never have got there!!
😊😊

Well, it’s Gargoyle Sunday, then!
Decidedly odd.
Yes
It takes a while for the face to appear, but then when it does, it’s all you can see… which is odd, as I usually spot faces in things straight away! 😀
How strange!
Too clever for me too! But I see it now.
I would have guessed a dog gargoyle
Thanks, Debbie! It was an attempt at obscure creativity!
It doesn’t look like a gargoyle, but I have no idea what it is. Clever use of a silhouette, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
It was part of the the base of my bracket clock
🙂 🙂
Wouldn’t have guessed if I hadn’t read the comments! Intriguing.
Thanks, Anabel! I have been trying to find some images of gargoyles that I took years ago but can I find them?
Clever shot, Sue. 🙂
Thanks, Amy!!
Me neither. I was going for an enlarged piece from a jigsaw but thought that was too simple and I was really stuck after that.
