Nope, the wine had been drunk over a week ago!
We have two left-over bouquets from Julie’s birthday on the 14th. They are just beginning to fade on the kitchen window-ledge. She put fresh water in the vases last night.

Some summer colours on a winters day……. fresh they are great but I also love the slow decay as they taken on a new often unpredictable look. 🙂
Yes, indeed…I do think there can be beauty in decay
