Beautiful
Thanks, it was a lovely sight!
How long did it take to reach the top, if you don’t mind telling.
Oh, we were in a car…
Good to know, thank you.
Nothing can beat being on top of a hill when the light is just right 🙂
Well, I would agree, Becky! See you this afternoon?
all being well 😀
Good
Fond memories of cycling there from south London in my youth, then going up to see the view before the long ride home. Now I wonder how I ever managed that! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Ass we do!
There are great views from atop that hill. Been a long time since I was up there – and we walked up from a car park at the bottom!
Back in the day…I walked up Snowdon…twice
Lovely to see this view 🙂 As a child, when we drove as a family to visit an aunt and uncle in Eastbourne, we always stopped at Box Hill for coffee and biscuits!
Oh, perfect!
Absolutely 🙂
Memories. It must be 50 years since I’ve been to Box Hill.
I seem to be creating memories for a few people!
Quite a view! I like “atop” as opposed to “on top of”, although either works.
And of course you had to use it to get only six words. 🙂
Well, absolutely, Janet!
Thanks!
Makes me think of the picnic scene in Jane Austen’s Emma which was at Box Hill. Not sure I’ve seen a picture of the view before so thanks for filling in my literary gap!
My pleasure!
What a beautiful view. Nice lighting on the grass 😀 😀
It was a lovely afternoon
Back in the day – we might have passed each other walking to the top!
