Many years ago (40ish), in my black and white D&P days, I did a few images of Flat Glass in Modern Buildings, started when I went to Leadenhall Market in London. Most of those are lost in the mists of time..but I have one or two from around London Bridge taken more recently:

Oh yes, I like these. Especially the second one with its not-so-flat glass.
Yay! And flat glass is never, actually, flat!
That second could almost be St. Mark’s Square in Venice. I know- I’m barmy!
Very barmy….since when did Christopher Wren design churches in Venice?
That gave me a chuckle! 🙂
It was intended to!
Oh yes, a great flat subject. You’ve got great reflections there, Sue
Thanks, Debbie! I need to find more flat glass
I love the reflections in the second shot in particular!
Thanks, Sarah!!
Stunning photos, Sue!
Thank you, Elke!
The image of thses reflections are incredibly beautifu, Sue!
Thank you, Amy!
I noticed my reflection in windows like those in London was always a little distorted. At one time, I thought it was my eyes, and had them checked at a branch of Dollond and Aitchison! I ended up with some expensive reading glasses, and a lecture about how all glass has some distortion.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, distortion is always evident
Love the reflections in the glass! Stunning captures, Sue!
Many thanks, Ju-Lyn!
