Both great shots! I can see why the first is a favourite but in some ways I like the second even more – the door is enticing 🙂

A great pair. Looking at the first image (which I actually prefer) I think it would work even better in the square format, removing the height of the trees but leaving the foreground.
Thanks, Jude. I see where you’re coming from, but I personally prefer the height of the trees because it emphasises the remoteness of the place!
