This prompt has arrived at just the right time….. Amy has said ”I hope you will join us sharing one of your days of the week”. This last week I was away with friends for a few days, and it got me out of my rather monotonous, mundane routine. And I saw new places, and got some new photographs…..at last
The last time I was in Chichester, I said it would be good to see the Bishops Palace Gardens so we decided to check it out as the weather was quite good this time.I’m just going to put in a gallery/slideshow of images from the side of the cathedral and walking through the gardens without any further preamble:
Looking at the cloisters Walking through one section of the cloisters Through an arch to the gardens Wonderful autumn colour

Beautiful fall colors in that garden – and the photo one section of the cloister” reminded me
Of a movie scene from somewhere – hm?
Thanks for sharing part of your day that included times with friends and a photo shoot
Thanks, Yvette, the colours were great! Pleased to share these 😊

How delightful. I had not realised that there were gardens there. And I must write up my visit to the Bishop’s Palace Gardens in Wells! I know what you mean about mundane. I think I have turned into a recluse!
Oh, do write up the Wells one!
I’m working my way to it!

Thanks, Margaret! I had three lovely days last weekend, and this was the one day that I hadn’t posted images of
these are lovely – it is such a lovely garden. We last walked here with Robert’s sister, so brings back happy memories of those times
Oh, good!
Ooo, I’m so glad that you got to do this. The arch photo is spectacular.
Yay! I was pleased with the reflections in that one
Nice to see those autumn colours in Chichester. It is still mostly green around here.
Best wishes, Pete.
So no colours for you…😢
Only in the bracken at the moment.
Ok…it must be colder where you are
Around 10C at the moment, Sue.

Although I have a nephew living in Chichester I have never visited. These gardens look lovely, especially with the late autumn colours and sunshine!
I was very pleasantly surprised. We were blessed with sunshine last weekend!
Yes, it was a lovely weekend – we were down in Dorset and saw lots of sunshine!
Excellent! Lots of photos?
Yes – you’ve seen some already I think, in my Lyme Regis post? I’ll have more later covering some Thomas Hardy related sights 🙂
Ah, good. Meantime, when I’m feeling a bit more perky, I shall find some from Lyme….
Fantastic photos for this week. Looks like you had a great time. Get some rest 😀 😀
Thanks, Cee, I had a lovely time, pleased you like the images!
You don’t need preamble, Sue. Glad you managed an outing, and I love the stone walls.
Teehee, thanks Jo!
That last photo makes me want to crash in and find out the topic under discussion!
Ah yes, I have no idea, so can’t enlighten you!
Although I live near enough Chichester to make day-trips easy, I don’t visit often enough. Your photos remind me of what I’m missing.
Thank you! I must say we were blessed with the sun
Lovely subjects well photographed. Love these.
Thank you, Sherry
