Becky suggested I do a bonus Square, as I commented that I had missed one day….so here is a belated Square post for the one missed. Another lovely old 13th Century Sussex church, this one in Heyshott, a few miles south of Midhurst.
This image was taken at a distance, so I could create a Square, its not the best view of the exterior of this church that I took, so more will follow anon,

And heres one from inside (not square) – I loved the simplicity of design:

Good to see – and glad you had such a fruitful weekend
Many thanks, Debbie…I felt invigorated
oh you have been church hopping – and what a lovely one this is too. So happy you’ve linked into squares 😀
Yay!
Nice indeed. Reminds me of quite a few around here in Norfolk.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, a missed opportunity for me…the brief time I visited Norfolk, I was hunting out ruins of churches!
Both of your photos are stunning. The lighting on the inside is something you can only photograph. 😀
Thank you, Cee!
So you got Extra Work for missing one day? I’ll be in detention for weeks!
Teehee! I chose to take up the optional challenge, Margaret!! Nothing arduous…..
I love buildings veiled by trees, like that. Glad you managed a trip out, Sue. It’s 2 years since Seville.
Indeed it is
The distance view so you could square it really have us a lot more setting too – and the old
Tomb stones had such character
Thanks, Yvette! Pleased you liked this….more to come
