Another s can of an old print, this one from about 25 years ago. Somewhere near Castle Drogo in Devon. I can still remember the gunnera backlit in front of that bridge as we descended some steps. I think maybe it’s Fingle Bridge in the Teign Gorge, or another one near?

My husband would spend a long time studying that bridge. It does look like an engineering accomplishment.
Probably an 18th century one
Built to last obviously.
It certainly was!
Wherever it is, it is a very fine picture. I like it.

That is one lovely photo, Sue, especially the beam of sunlight through the packhorse bridge, and the distant dreamy landscape.
Many thanks, Tish!
This looks good – better than on screen yesterday!
Well, yes!
A wonderful bridge, Sue
Thanks, Debbie!

A great resuscitation job you’re doing on these, Sue. Love packhorse bridges and this is a fine shot.
Many thanks, Jo!
I have been to Castle Drogo, in the early 1980s. But I have never seen that bridge before. Nice capture, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
It was a little way away, in the Teign gorge
A magical image, Sue. 😍
Thanks, Sylvia! I remember that day well
