A bit forlorn in a field – Past Squares 5

I’ll make these the last ruins in a field for a while, well have something else tomorrow!

A bit of a temple or something, Selinunte again:

  1. Nice bit of colour in the foreground.

  2. This is a real ‘Look on my works, ye mighty ….’ moment, isn’t it?

  3. Always amazes me how certain sections just remain

  4. A very pretty ruin shot, Sue. The flowers take away the forlornness for me

  5. They obviously couldn’t get that bit on the wagon when they were stealing the stones to use to build a house. 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

  6. How delightful to come across bits like this and the foreground flowers frame this photo beautifully, but you already know that 😀

  7. My eye was taken by the modern pylons or whatever they are on the hilltop, such a contrast to the ruins in the foreground.

  8. Must have been a beautiful place to live, or worship.

  9. I’ve been enjoying your ruins in a field. 😀 😀

  10. Amy

That is a beautiful capture, Sue!
